Autogas, commonly known as propane gas or liquid petroleum gas (LPG), is quickly growing in popularity as a fuel source for vehicles in the U.S. and around the world. In fact, autogas is the third most common motor fuel in the world, with more than 23 million personal, commercial, and municipal vehicles currently being powered by autogas. Considered an alternative fuel, autogas can power internal combustion engines, generators, and other stationary equipment. Compared to diesel and gasoline, LPG is less expensive and produces significantly fewer harmful carbon emissions.
IPS has the resources and expertise to meet the rapidly growing demand for this domestically sourced alternative fuel, which requires the infrastructure support of propane autogas dispensers to fulfill expanding supply needs.
